Tonight, I finished Galatians. Chapter 6 reminded me of some things I already knew, but it shined a light on some new things, too. If you have ever read Matthew 7:1, you know it says, “Judge you not, that you might be judged.” I have had this verse of scripture replay in my mind so many times I have lost count. A Homestead Update from the Quiet Middle

The week went off without a hitch!

It was the absolute best time. Despite the sunburn and the itchy skin, the trip was relaxing. We ate some really good food. We tried a place called Lulu's--while the wait times were long, the food was delicious.

We had sand in our hair and every piece of luggage, so we have plenty to remember the vacation for the next few days.

If you're needing that get away trip, do it!

We have faced so much, and the getaway was just what our bodies and minds needed to relax...

We are now on day two of our beach trip, and though the sun has been generous, it left its mark—my husband and I are sporting shades of red that would make a lobster jealous. Thankfully, our little one remains untouched by the burn, full of energy and excitement.
