How often do we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget to take a minute in the hustle and the bustle to Thank the One who really matters? I can say I am sometimes guilty of this exact thing. For the last two days I have had a packed-out house. I am so blessed we are able to accommodate our family and our friends on this very special day. We have had the most amazing time hosting two families this weekend. I cannot express how great it all has been, and how much fun we have had. It is truly a joy to entertain and have the laughter of children and family around. God has been so patient and so good in our lives.
It can be so easy to put prayer time off during the hectic day to day life. Sometimes we fall short when it comes to keeping up with what truly matters.
Have you ever stopped and thought about what the cross really means? Yes, Jesus died for a sin's, but take a moment and really think about your thought life. Your day in and day out mess. Did you get angry at a slow driver this weekend while rushing to get to a family/friend function? Did you gossip or judge something or entertain things you probably shouldn't? The Bible tells us that no sin is greater than any other sin.
Every petty action we have God already sees it. Every minute moment of our lives, He sees.
Just like He knew Judas would betray Him, He chose him anyway.
Just like He knew Moses would break the 10 commandments, He chose him anyway. Along with countless others.
Just like He knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb, He chose you anyway.
You matter! You are loved and you are blessed!
He is the reason for the season!
