Welcome back to my cozy little corner of the internet,
Let's dive in; As we all know life can hit pretty hard, but it is the little things that keep our heads above water. Let me encourage you some, you are worth it, this too shall pass, and you are never alone. Even when you cannot see God, He is always there for you. Please, please, please remember that He loves you and cares for you.
We've had quite a bit hit hard for us; financially, mentally and spiritually. We are growing our homestead and just had 10 baby chickens hatch this past weekend. I had to help one break out, because the shell had dried out. I worried. I worried so much that I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to anoint it, pray over it and wait on God. Now, you may think it was silly of me to anoint a baby chicken, and the odds of getting 10 out of 12 was more than enough from our smart incubator, but ask yourself, "Am I really going to put a limit on God?"
The answer? No, I will not be putting a limit on my God. If He can raise up Lazarus, open the eyes of blind Bartimaeus, make a donkey speak, and be raised in three days, why would I even think my little chicken won't perk up? Not to mention every other miracle from Genesis to Revelation.
He can do exceedingly, abundantly above anything we can ask or think.
It is your job to either trust or continue to keep struggling trying to make it all work by yourself. Sister, Brother, aren't you tired? Some serious situations have also occurred; however, we've made it through it. My husband lost his job not long after we moved into our new home. I am a SAHM, a homesteader and am working on the release of my first book. When I say life can hit hard, it is not an understatement. Friend, I get it. I may not understand everything you are going through, but I know someone with a lot more authority. Someone who can take you farther than you or I could ever imagine.
So, when these trying, exhausting, nerve-wracking situations come up remember, God is still writing your story, stop trying to steal the pen, give it back. Be patient, sweet sister. Stay faithful, Brother. He tells us, "I KNOW the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you, to give you hope AND a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
But remember also Ecclesiastes 3 there is a time for EVERYTHING and remember Habakkuk 2:3, "For the vision is yet for an appointed time; at the end it will speak and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." As Christain's aren't we all waiting for something at some point? Whether we're in the season of learning patience, or at the mountain top waiting on His return, we are all waiting. It is perfectly fine to do just that. It may cause some stress or anxiety at times but remember where that is coming from. The adversary is always trying to steal joy. In the waiting find the joy. Find the excitement in the surprise of it all. We all face trails, that is why we need prayer and a helping hand.
You will get through this. Things will work out for your good. STAY FAITHFUL.
Be Blessed!
