Hi friends and welcome back to my little corner of the internet.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of going to our annual women's conference at my church. I have looked forward to the women's conference every year since I first started to attend. It is always life changing and is so eye opening.
The theme or word for the conference was Impart.
Things to consider during the first night of the conference or even a thought you were struggling with was, "Are you having trouble loving someone? What is life after a lifetime of sin? How do you forgive? What are your spiritual struggles?"
The story that started it was from 2 Kings 4:1-8 When the woman needed a miracle and she went to Elisha a man of God and asked for help. He asked her what she had in her house. Her initial reply was nothing. But later she would reveal she had a vial of oil. He told her to collect multiple vessels to fill them with the oil she had and to then sell them, pay off her debt and live off the rest of the profit she made.
Our walk with God does not exempt us from going through troubled times. It is how we face those troubled times that determines our faith in Him. Some things in life especially during troubled times you shouldn't immediately take to friends or family. Not even people in the workplace or random church member. Not every listening ear will benefit your trouble. Not every listening ear will pray with you through it.
You HAVE TO go to God first. Even if you don't get your answer right away. Give God time to work things out for your benefit.
Satan can come against you with all sorts of fear and depression, but the bible tells us plainly he has to flee in seven different ways. (Deuteronomy 28:7)
Pray this out loud.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I come against any and all lack in my life. I come against any insecurities I hold or meditate on daily. I come against any doubts or thoughts that do not line up with the word of God. I come against the orphan spirit that lies and says I am alone, that I do not belong or I am not good enough. I do belong here; God has me here for a plan and a purpose. This is my moment, for such a time as this. I believe and pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN.
When Jesus called the woman daughter in Mark 5:34 due to her faith He immediately took her into His family.
You friend are a part of that family when you chose to put your faith solely and completely in Him. You are His daughter, His son and no devil in hell or man on this earth can pluck you from His hand. Live in peace knowing that!
Stay Blessed!
