November 1, 2026
Hello November

Hey Friend and welcome back to my little corner of the internet,

It’s the beginning of the month, and somehow we’re already staring down the end of 2026. This year has flown by, but it always feels that way once we step into the holiday months. November has always been my favorite time of year. We get that extra hour of sleep, and the world seems to grow a little quieter as the season shifts into something cooler and bare.

The trees loosen their leaves, the air turns crisp, the rain feels colder, and the sweaters seem warmer. It’s a beautiful time for roaring fires, slow evenings, and if you’re anything like me, you’re already planning exactly how you’ll decorate your Christmas tree.

This week, our cat decided she’s officially an outdoor girl. We let her explore, and she made her choice quickly: wide open spaces, sunshine, and freedom. She refuses to come back inside now, and honestly? She’s happier than ever, energetic, curious, and living her best little farm‑cat life.

Our garden finally got a well‑deserved watering today. I’ve caught a cold with a horrid cough, so I’m moving slower than usual, but we still managed to make gumbo this weekend with fresh peppers from the garden. They were phenomenal, the kind of warmth that feels like a hug when you’re under the weather.

And as we step into this new month, I keep coming back to one of my favorite verses:

Psalm 46:10- "Be still, and know that I am God..."

November always reminds me to slow down. To breathe. To trust that even in the rush toward the holidays, even in the bare garden beds and the chilly mornings, God is steady. Present. Working in the quiet places.

Here’s to a month of warmth, stillness, and small joys, crisp air, cozy fires, happy cats, garden peppers, and the gentle reminder that there's no need to rush.

Stay Blessed,

FASP
