Held in the In-Between

Hello and welcome back to my little corner of the internet,

It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update, and truthfully, not much has changed—at least on the surface. But you know what? Every day is still a gift. I truly believe that.

Of course, there are those days when life is just... life-ing. Let’s be honest: sometimes the motivation runs dry, and the spark fades for a while.

I began this journey because I felt a deep calling to tell a story placed on my heart by God. I poured months into writing my manuscript and illustrating every page with intention and love. I signed on with a publisher and trusted the process… until I couldn’t anymore.

Eventually, I had to part ways. The experience left me drained and disappointed—more “ringing out” than “rejoicing.” All the excitement I’d imagined for publishing my first book seemed to vanish. I began to dread their emails, when each one should’ve brought hope.

But now? A new chapter might be unfolding. I’ve reached out to a new publisher, and just yesterday, I received some feedback. That glimmer of possibility is back. I’m hopeful that by next week I’ll have a new story to share, and this journey can finally pick up where it left off.

In the meantime, I hope you’re well. And if you’re walking through something hard right now, please know: you're not alone. If you ever need prayer or just a friend to lean on, my inbox is open. Feel free to reach out and tell me how it's going or where life is taking you. Whatever that may be I would love to hear it!!

You are seen. You are loved. You are never forgotten.

In the meantime, I’ve kept the creative juices flowing. I am continuing to work on my debut fantasy novel; it's a project that’s been slowly blooming behind the scenes, full of heart, prophecy, and the kind of hope that lingers long after the final page is turned. I cannot wait to share it with you!

As always, be blessed—and may your day be filled with joy, even in the quiet places.

A verse for continued hope.

The Lord is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him,

To those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word]. Lamentations 3:25
