Hey Friend and welcome back to my little corner of the internet.
This week has been rough to say the least. I had to go to the ER. It was an awful experience and eventually was able to speak with the doctor. But he wasn't sure what the cause of the current things I'm dealing with were.
Isn't that how it always goes? We try to figure it out or pray that some doctor can tell us everything that's wrong. So often it's easy to forget that the great creator designed us and knows exactly what's wrong even when we don't.
In the midst of all of this I've had an irrational fear that's lingered. But God always sends confirmation. This week I was listening to a well known preacher on Facebook. And one thing he said was, "A fear of God's absence is a sign of His presence."
So, even though I felt alone in the hospital room, due to them not allowing my husband back there to be with me because of us having Little with us, I really wasn't alone. God is so close. In so many ways He never lets us too far out of His sights. We can't hide from Him or out run Him. (Proverbs 139)
This month I'm studying the book of John. I'm learning more and more about the good fruit Jesus talks about. I've heard it before but sometimes we need a refresher on what God's word tells us. Sometimes things involve a deeper dive to better grasp what is expected of us and our walk with Him.
Walking by faith and giving it all to God can take you to places you could never dream of on your own. I believed my life would've been totally different than how it is now. I was so sure I would be flying the globe and my family would reap the benefits. But God had other plans. Now, I am a SAHM who gets to watch her Little grow every day. I would've missed so much of this time with Little had I still been flying. I'm so grateful God had other plans. So, stay deep in the word and His plan for your life. Bear good fruit and stay rooted in faith. Stay rooted in Him.
Stay Blessed!
